The First Congregational Church in Rootstown was founded in 1810 and celebrates in 2010 its 200th anniversary.
The tracker organ, built by the Votteler Organ Company of Cleveland, was installed on November 4, 1896, and was a gift from Mrs. John D. Rockefeller.
The original cost of the organ was $1150, and a $300 addition was needed to house the organ.
